The agreement is part of Fiber Misr Systems’ continuous effort to support the Egyptian government’s goal for the digitalization of ministries, governmental institutions and enterprises. Fiber Misr Systems and Vodafone Egypt were selected to execute this strategic project, which is part of the 3rd phase of the digital transformation program for the Ministry of Public Business Sector.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Mohamed El Saadawy, Chairman of the Holding Company for Metallurgical Industries, Eng. Ahmed Mekky, Chairman and CEO of Benya, and Mr. Mohamed Abdullah, CEO of Vodafone Egypt.

SMART AFRICA : Benya joins the Smart Africa Alliance as a Gold Member

Benya joined the 9th Smart Africa Alliance board meeting chaired by His Excellency @PaulKagame President of the Republic of Rwanda and Chairman of the board. The meeting was attended by representatives from 27 member countries of the Alliance including 10 Heads of State and Government, International Organizations and Private Sector Members. Eng. Ahmed Mekky, Chairman and CEO of Benya, attended the board meeting representing Benya as a special guest of the meeting.

Joining the Alliance gives Benya the opportunity and access to expand more in the African ICT market.
